    Pentaco And The Stories Of Lynn

    Pentaco Construction Ltd has been awarded a £1.4M contract at Kings Lynn Town Hall to remodel and extend the existing buildings creating space for their new Stories of Lynn visitor attraction. Having achieved pre-qualification to a shortlist, the works were secured on a single stage competitive tender basis. The works will include the construction of a new archive document store which will provide continuous secure protection for the historic records kept there.

    New Managaing Director for Pentaco

    We are delighted to announce that Adrian Wilkinson has joined Pentaco Construction in the role of Managing Director. The appointment is part of a re-structure of the business with founding Directors, Chris Varvel and Adrian Hubbard focusing on projects for the company's development arm, Astris Homes.

    Pentaco Celebrate 10 Year Milestone

    Pentaco Construction Ltd have celebrated 10 years of trading with a "get-together" at the Assembly House, Norwich. The evening was spent in the beautiful Music Room where the invitees enjoyed wine and canapés. Members of Pentaco's staff were joined by representatives of clients, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers, all of whom have worked with us over the past 10 years. Commercial Director, Adrian Hubbard spoke on behalf of the company thanking all whom have contributed to the success of the business and in particular the staff whom have been "instrumental in Pentaco's success".

    Carrowbreck House Completion

    Pentaco Construction have completed works at Carrowbreck House, Norwich. The works comprised a major refurbishment of Broadland District Council's training facility on Drayton High Road to form new high specification training rooms. Substantial structural works were carried out and a first floor extension added to the 90 year old detached property.

    Ben & Kayleigh A Class Apart

    Congratulations go to Ben Bond-Webster and Kayleigh Mudd who have both completed their academic programme at Anglia Ruskin University Chelmsford and have both attained a BSc (Hons) Quantity Surveying with First Class Honours -  a fantastic achievement. Ben said that he "was extremely pleased to have finished with such a degree - all the hard work was worth it!". We at Pentaco Construction are also extremely pleased and hopefully our commitment to training and academic support have helped Ben and Kayleigh on route to their success. Well done to you both!

    Have A Heart Golf Day

    Pentaco Construction Ltd were delighted to support Have A Heart's recent golf day. The event was staged at the excellent Menzies Cambridge Golf Course and proved to be an entertaining and enjoyable day. Have a Heart is a charity of Heart FM Radio and is a keen supporter of local groups such as EACH. Pentaco were represented on the golf course by Chris Varvel, Phil "Tiger" Colegate (pictured right) and Ciarán Creegan with the team finishing joint third overall. The day ended with a meal and charity auction raising funds for a great cause.

    Pentaco Awarded Structure-flex Works

    Pentaco Construction Ltd have been awarded the contract to refurbish what was the former 'Cromer Crab' site for new owners Structure-flex Ltd. The £1.5M contract includes for re-cladding and re-roofing of the existing building, laying of new floor screeds, completion of an extensive mechanical & electrical works fit out and installation of new roller shutters, windows and doors. The works, programmed to take 20 weeks, will be overseen by Bidwells LLP (Norwich) who will act as Contract Administrator for the project.

    Ogilvie Hall Nears Completion

    Works at Ogilvie Hall, Thorpeness are now nearing completion and the results of the conversion works are looking impressive to say the least! Pentaco Construction have refurbished and converted the dissued mock Tudor building in Thorpness into five luxury apartments fitting of the original building and its beautiful surroundings. The pictures below illustrate what has been achieved in three of the units with a further two units about to be handed over.
