Works progressing at Bergh Apton

Despite the wet weather of late, work is still progressing at a steady pace at Bergh Apton and we are trying to mitigate any delays to trades working on-site.

We are currently in the plastering and mist coating stages of plots 1, 2, 3, and the trades are progressing well with brick and blockwork operations and carpentry operations to plots 5 – 11. With renderers, roofers, and internal trades all waiting in the wings to get completed to a high-quality standard. The Infiltration Basin is nearing completion.

We currently have not planned any invasive works on the highways in the next period as all highways works can be conducted from inside the site boundary, which will only then present minimal disruptions to the immediate site boundary area and any diversions shall be signed appropriately.

The site has recently been awarded with a Performance Beyond Compliance Certificate from the Considerate Contractors Scheme which means the site has achieved a score of 7 or above in each of the five sections of the code of practice.
